"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal

Dear Danny
I know we were a crazy family, and we lost a member that can't be replaced. We all wish we could have just one more day with you, but we will, although not soon enough. We all cry for ourselves because we miss you; we know you're in a better place now and happy and filled with joy. We cry because as long as we're on this Earth your absense will be felt strongly, and we will miss your laughter and humor. We all feel the void, and we always will. It's one of the saddest things I have been through yet. We will all get through this though - and maybe you have given us a gift: you have shown us how precious life is. No one of us can be replaced, and we are all special in our own way. We all know that you loved us and cared about us as much as we loved and cared about you. I will always be greatful for having known you for what you have shown us and taught us. Your job here was done and now you have bigger plans. What God has planned for you I can only imagine. I know we will meet again, and smile and laugh at all the trouble of parting. I still can't, and we all can't believe you have left us. Until we meet again, I will forever be your brother - Jeff
Shine on you Crazy Diamond/ Wish You Were Here
Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the cross fire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger,
you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions, come on you painter,
you piper, you prisoner, and shine!
*****************************
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange
a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl,
year after year,
running over the same old ground. What have we found?
The same old fears,
wish you were here.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
